Nothing is more critical to the day to day functionality of an office than its arrangement and furniture layout. People are unlikely to perform at their best in an environment which they dislike or that encourages them to work inefficiently.
At Riverhouse we can provide a comprehensive space planning and CAD design service, to assist you in achieving the full potential of your working environment.
In today’s world of ever-increasing property costs, efficiency and space utilisation are increasingly important. Furthermore the working environment is today seen as a fundamental part of attracting and retaining the best staff.
Space planning starts from the desk top. By analysing the various job functions we establish a work station functionality requirement. Next overall and departmental head count requirements are established. These are then combined with operational interface criteria, such as sales and accounts departments interacting, and any relevant space constraints, such as storage needs or if break out areas are required.
We then consider the form and practicality of the space being planned and also its physical constraints. How much of the net let able floor space is actually useable? Is there a run of columns creating effectively ‘dead’ space? What are the window locations and access routes?
This information then provides the background data against which our space planning solutions are prepared. Allowing us to design an effective and efficient space arrangement and furniture layout for your organisation.
